Today’s tip is to write down how much you’ve saved so far, AND how you would motivate others to save money.
This may seem odd– but “self-persuasion” here refers to how in figuring out how to persuade others to do something they might not want to do, a lot of people talk themselves into doing it, too. Ramit cites a study based on changing the dietary habits in the United States during World War II.
